Have you completed your pre-Christmas checklist? As temperatures drop and grass goes dormant there is still work to be done! Irrigation systems need to be shut down and winterized. Leaves need to be collected from the bedspaces around the property and off of the turf, or mulched in. Limestone should be added to amend or maintain the proper soil PH. Fresh straw or mulch should be applied to thicken up cover around shrubs and trees. Don’t forget the Christmas decorations!
